About Badby And Its Church

Badby is the largest village in the Knightley Benefice and is home to over 600 people (including around 100 under 20) living in 272 dwellings. It has two pubs, a school, a village hall and the Church of St. Mary the Virgin - the largest Church in the Benefice and the only one which possesses both a kitchen and a toilet. It was extensively refurbished in 2018 when rotten flooring was replaced, the heating renovated, stepless access provided, and some pews at the rear of the nave removed to provide a flexible space for different activities.

St Mary's uses Common Worship for Holy Communion, holds lay-led  All-age Family Service and a Morning Worship once a month. The Evening Service Of The Word is also held monthly in St Mary's (see Service Plans and next events).
